Awkward places happen, especially in space-limited San Francisco homes. This Mission District TIC has there identical units, but each one has a different slightly challenging living-room feature wall. About 5 years ago we did this Scandinavian inspired AV unit.
Shishi’s middle unit had the challenge of the center column and an added heater and electrical panel cleverly hidden by the realtor with a large mirror…
Real-estate photos – cover it up with a mirror brilliant, but what about using the heater? – the home owners wanted narrow storage and a functional cover for the heater.

The custom design and build bookcases are made with two handy access points. The back of the bookcases is removable to access the electrical panel and the middle has a magnet embedded heather cover in brass hexagon pattern.
