Victorian Closets

Exceptional design flawlessly executed. These two rooms of full length – floor to ceiling (14′ tall) and wall to wall cabinets have it all.  Custom moulding on solid beach wood 1″ thick doors hung in an European style for maximized space. Interiors are made of  maple, featuring solid maple scoop front pull-out drawers with dividers.

Master Bedroom

The Master Bedroom walk-through closet integrates the best in modern cabinetry with quality craftsmanship and elegant victorian traditional design.  Library ladders roll along the entire wall to provide easy access the upper+upper cabinetry.

The nook in front of the original victorian french doors to balcony double as shudders with matching custom moulding inside and out. On the left the home owner pulls out a custom made 9′ tall shoe rack made in solid hard maple and featuring adjustable shelves riding on glides rated for 450 pounds of weight.  On the right bottomless solid wood dovetail drawers hold custom-made for removable and washable hanging laundry bags (hand-made by homeowner to fit this unique space).

 

Guest Room

Deceivingly large here’s an image with 6′ tall Henry in the guest room for perspective. Note there is no crown moulding so measurements (taken before drywall) needed to be near perfect for this floor to ceiling look – installed by contractor Christopher Gates Construction. 

The guest room full length and height closets are deceivingly shallow to give a flush wall look and full size closet on the end.  Using every inch of space the homeowner design 6″ deep Purse/Handbag storage with glass front shelves for the shallower 3 of the 5 closet doors.

The client’s long term vision created a well thought through, uncompromising design that Henry was able to delivered with high quality 100% custom fitted furniture.
