Character tells the story of the wood, and this beautiful Sapele traveled from the Democratic Republic of Congo to become a hand crafted custom desk. Each fleck of warm red grain reflected the trees life bringing life to this custom designed desk for owner John. 
John was inspired by Hawaiian Koa wood and traditional craftsman style furniture. He wanted a spacious desk in his home office but needed to accommodate an existing window.
Custom veneer panels match the grain across the four file drawers. The solid top includes a hinge to allow access to the existing window while maximizing work area. Milled from solid lumber, craft joinery, finished and installed with care by Henry.
