Mixing highly skilled traditional craftsmanship with modern angular design the “Floating E” side-table is a unique design ideal for a contemporary aesthetic.
Crafted from solid Ash – a sustainable, American, hard wood – with a prominent grain in an attractive light cream to brown hue. Henry chose a strong wood to work with the box joints used throughout the design. Box joints are one of the strongest type of joint (arguably stronger than dove tail) allowing the tables to be constructed without a screws, nails or biscuits. One of the more challenging joints to master Henry’s decade of wood craftsmanship stands out in construction of these side tables.
A trio of cantilevers support the levitating drawer, and the solid base and back make these table’s substantial without weighing down your room.
